MUNSTER, IN – December 9, 2011 - Citizens Financial Bank has collected gifts for the St. Margaret Mercy’s Adopt-A-Family Program. Special donation bins were put in several Citizens’ Banking Centers and through the generosity of both its clients and employees, the collection of gifts has surpassed expectations.
Thomas Prisby, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Financial Bank stated, “Citizens is proud to participate in the Adopt-A- Family Program. Our clients and staff want to share this holiday with those families needing our generosity.” He continues, “Citizens follows the principle that we should always support the communities we serve.”
The Saint Margaret Mercy’s Adopt-A-Family Program, now in its 24th consecutive year, allows departments or groups of friends throughout the hospital to “adopt” a needy family. Employees receive information on their adopted family’s needs, which may include clothes, toys for children and a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. The hospital’s Mission Integration Committee identifies needy families with the assistance of several area service organizations.
